Honeywell usually conducts a written exam in various centers across the country. This is followed by an interview of the students who have cleared the written exam at the head office in Bangalore. The written test consists of 50 questions from all subjects, 30 questions form C+ and 20 questions testing aptitude. The focus here is mainly on percentage problems. The duration of the paper is one hour and 40 mins.
There is a different paper for Computer Science and Electronics major students. The written exam is followed by a technical interview in which the most important question is on the student’s project. Other questions are related to the students’ aptitude, attitude and goals, etc. There are technical questions as well related to the field.
The duration of the interview is approx 20 mins. Thereafter the students are shortlisted for the next round of interview which could last from about 10 mins to 45 mins. This is again a technical interview. The HR team usually conducts the fourth and final round of the interviews. The final interview is just a formality. By this stage they have decided your status in the company. You can expect a call anytime soon.
