iGate Corporation operates with the help of its three segments: iGate Shared Services, iGate Professional Services, and iGate Solutions. The group provides offshore outsourcing and IT services to various organizing, through the subsidiaries. It is an integrated operations and technology company.
iGate India is a subsidiary of the iGate Corporation. The subsidiary of the group iGate Global Solutions Limited is ranked the top IT employer in the country.
The company has many offshore development centers. These centers are located in Delhi, Pune, Chennai, and Hyderabad.
The pattern of the recruitment process of the company is given below:
The selection test consists of a written test, two technical interviews and one HR interview. The written test consists of two sections and the time duration is 1 hour. 20 questions are from English and 30 questions are from aptitude. The English part is not very tough. The questions are comprehension based, use of articles, sentence correction and analogy. The aptitude section comprises of math questions and reasoning questions.
The math section comprises of questions from topics like, time and work, time and distance, simple and compound interest, profit and loss and ratio and proportion.
The reasoning part comprises of diagram combination questions, concentration questions, puzzles etc.
Candidates who clear the written test are called for the technical interview. After this the successful candidates are called for the HR round.
