The Indian Airforce offers recruitment to the eligible
candidates. There are two basic steps in the process, the first been the
Written test and the other been the personal interview. The Aptitude
test has two sections, namely Section I and Section II. The total number
of questions in the papers is seventy five and has duration of one
hour. The total number of questions from each of the section I is forty.
These are non-specialized question and are meant to be attempted by all
the candidates, belonging from the entire engineering
stream. Each of the questions, when answered correctly fetches around
one mark. No Negative markings are observed while checking the papers.
The second section or Section II carries specialized questions and are meant to be answered by those candidates who belong to a particular stream, for instance, the electrical engineering, telecommunications, etc. There are about thirty five questions in the following section. Each of the questions carries a maximum of one mark and observes no negative marking. Both of the sections will be handed over to the candidates as soon as they enter the exam hall. Answering the second section as according to their department should be followed. Both objectives as well as subjective types question are offered in the paper.
