Tata Motors was formerly known by the name of TELCO (TATA Engineering and Locomotive Company). Tata Motors is one of the largest manufacturers of automobiles in India and with the acquisition of Land Rover and Jaguar; the name Tata Motors has become even more famous. Tata Motors is also famous for the Wonder car, TATA NANO, which costs only 1 lakh.
Telco or Tata Motors conducts an exam for the recruitment of Engineers. The company also visits some colleges for campus recruitment where an Aptitude test is conducted followed by an Interview for the selection of the deserving candidates. The company allows only Electrical and Electronics students to sit for the Aptitude Test. The paper consists of questions from Arithmetic, Algebra and other simple mathematics, logical reasoning, and questions from core subjects such as Microprocessors, Machines, Power Electronics, and Control System etc.
A candidate has to obtain a minimum of cut off marks to get selected for the Interview. The final selection of the candidates is based on the performance of the candidates in both Aptitude test as well as in the interview.
